Wings. Oysters. Burgers. Or as we like to call them, the three basic food groups. You can’t not have fun eating any of those things. And you guys put all of them on the same menu in the same building. That’s a turbo-charged move right there.
Your restaurant has bold food, a fun atmosphere and a diverse menu. And we’d like to use our skills as storytellers, creatives, designers and writers to help you bring its unique voice and personality to life in everything you do. Or, to put it another way, we want to dunk the whole brand in Hot Yaki sauce and serve it with crinkle-cut fries and a beer to everyone within driving distance of a Jefferson’s.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Behemoth. A small, creative branding company with an ironic name. We are not really an advertising agency (although sometimes we look and act like one). What we are is a creative-focused team of writers, designers and strategists that specialize in making your brand look and sound different than your competitors.
We are very collaborative. We’ve worked with big and small brands. We have a lot of QSR and fast-casual restaurant experience. We think fried pickles should be served with every meal. And we’d love to talk to you.

We did a lot with McDonald's (it's a little hamburger place you might have heard of), from national broadcast to localized marketing campaigns for co-ops. We also made some billboards, did some radio, created some social media, launched some new products and even invented something called a Blitz Box. And we won some fancy-pants awards for it. We think we can make your pants fancy, too.
Facing some backlash from some... shall we say... peculiar previous advertising choices, Quizno’s decided they needed a little more direct approach. We rolled out as much food porn as humanly possible to highlight quality ingredients and their executive chef, who was responsible for some of the zany and atypical flavors found on Quizno's menu. So effective was the footage, that the president of the U.S. Mushroom Council called and said, "This is the most beautiful footage we've seen of mushrooms in use." That's not a joke. That really happened. And there really is a Mushroom Council.
Halloween is a huge season for Krispy Kreme. So we transformed Krispy Kreme into Krispy Skremes. The team highlighted the special holiday-themed doughnuts with illustration and copy to new boxes, point-of-purchase, t-shirts, and environmental graphics. There was even a microsite and social media integration to round out the full Halloween blast with all the fun Krispy Kreme is known for.
SONIC DRIVE INS
Everyone knows the Sonic TV campaign. After all, it’s been running for about 719 years now. We were there at the very beginning and probably created close to a hundred TV and radio ads as part of that iconic campaign. We also worked on print, digital, packaging, outdoor, sponsorship campaigns, PR events and everything else a successful QSR needed to sell a supersonic boatload of burgers. Did one of us even wear a giant foam Sonic french fry box costume and wave at passersby to promote happy hour? Yes. And the smell of that costume haunts us to this day.
For real, we love food. Jim once did three 3oz shots of ranch dressing on a dare, after eating 50 wings. Matt once took a 250 mile trip to eat a specific cheeseburger.
